Murrays was first established in 1955 and has been a successful family run business ever since.

William Murray a young apprentice painter and decorator decided to open his own business when his previous employer retired. The business included working for local factories, council contracts but mainly private homes with a loyal customer base.

Since Mr Murray's retiral the business is now managed by John and Fran Brown to the same high standard of workmanship.

Since then the high street shop has grown to become a well renowned outlet in the Hillfoots offering a wide range of products and advice.

The friendly staff are able to offer years of experience.
